This TTM-EXO1CS SOP taping machine is used to automatically tape SOPs of different sizes loaded in the magazine onto an adhesive paper tape or embossed tape in a process preparatory to subsequent automatic insertion into motherboards. Changeover of transport of SOPs -- even those of different sizes -- can be achieved in a short time by simply changing the jigs used. This machine can also be used with SOJs (Small Out-line J-lead) packages, etc. Machine operation, stick mounting/dismounting and step change can be achieved with ease on the front panel. As for the moving sections of this machine, a cum-drive and an air-pressure drive are used separately for the sake of structural simplicity and safety. Scrupulous care has been taken to protect the winding tape and component parts from possible damage. Two 6-digit programming counters are provided to make it possible for the machine to stop automatically after a prescribed number of sticks have been loaded. Pre-operation arrangements can be carried out independent of the machine using a spare magazine (sold separately), allowing for enhanced operational efficiency.
